About 102 Apparel

Hello! Shop owner Becky here! The very beginnings of 102 Apparel happened in 2020. I spent a lot of time in lockdown bored out of my mind and was desperate to do something fun and eventually I came across tie dye. Of course you have your classic spirals and rainbows, but I wanted to be able to create wearable art without it being exactly like every picture you see on Google when you search "tie dye". Now I feel confident enough in my designs and technique to branch into alternative styles, fitting more with my own personal aesthetic (you can find alternative styles in the Grunge Edit).

After deciding on the name 102 Apparel (affectionately named after an unreleased song by my favourite band), I made my first few sales to my friends in late 2020/early 2021 on Etsy and since then the shop has been growing at a humble pace. 

Four years later, and I'm finally publishing my own website/online store!
