Etsy to E-Commerce

Hi! Store owner Becky here. This is the first time I've ever written anything close to a blog so I won't lie, this feels quite unnatural for me and a little bit cringe.
Well, technically I have written a blog post before, but I accidentally deleted it 10 minutes ago trying to add it to the homepage of this shiny new website - turns out Shopify isn't lying when they say "this action can't be undone".

Anyway, I had read the original blog post a few times, so I'll do my best to re-write that masterpiece of whit from memory, but considering I have the memory of a sieve it won't even be mildly similar.

Why blog?

So why write a blog if you find it cringe? Because Reddit told me to.

In my extensive research into making sure I can market this brand new website properly, a very common suggestion was to write a blog.
People in general don't tend to realise just how much time it takes to make tie dye; it takes literal days. On top of the actual making-of my wearable art, there's also the idea generation, trialling the designs, photography, editing, uploading etc. and that's all in addition to dealing with Etsy's shenanigans.
I've spent years getting 102 Apparel to where it is now, so taking this all to the next step by building a dedicated website is long overdue.

In my own personal ventures, I recently discovered that I actually do like writing, so take one small business that's ready to grow, and pair it with the owner who has found a new thing they like to do, and hey presto you've got a blog.

I'll do my best not to bore readers, but I do tend to waffle on a bit.
